The redlined version of Boeing’s proposed contract offer is now available (see below). This version shows exactly what would change from the old contract, should we vote to ratify this offer.
A reminder: Both your WTPU negotiation team and your Bargaining Unit Council (comprised of the 14 WTPU Council Reps) have endorsed Boeing’s offer and recommend that you vote yes.
More information on the contract
After you’ve reviewed the redlined version, if you have questions, email them to WTPUquestions@speea.org. We’ll use those questions as a basis for an FAQ page going forward.
We are preparing a one-page summary of contract highlights as well as a more-detailed PowerPoint presentation. Both will be posted online next week on this page.
We are planning in-person meetings where you will be able to ask questions and get answers. Those will be the week of Jan. 26. We’ll have details on times, dates and locations as soon as they are confirmed.
More information on voting
We are preparing more information about the election process, which you should receive next week. We will do electronic voting with a secure system that has been used for SPEEA elections in the Northwest; however, you also will have the option of voting in-person at our SPEEA office using a paper ballot.
Only dues-paying SPEEA members in good-standing will be able to vote. If you’re not a member, use this link to get a membership form, which you can return to your Council Rep or drop off at our office at 4621 E. 47 th St. S.
