Support the labor movement
Are you active in SPEEA and looking for ways to connect to other labor unions? Consider applying to become a SPEEA delegate to the regional and state labor councils.
Labor councils bring together delegates from many different unions to coordinate around shared labor priorities, hold elected officials accountable and take action to improve conditions for all working people.
What does a SPEEA labor delegate do?
As a SPEEA delegate, your role is to represent SPEEA’s interests as an organization and to help shape how the broader labor movement understands and supports aerospace professionals.
This is not a solo advocacy role. Delegates act as an extension of SPEEA to help grow our influence and credibility while we stand alongside our union siblings in shared struggles.
Why it matters
From strike support to legislative campaigns to voting on behalf of our union at labor councils, SPEEA delegates play a vital role in making sure the needs and voices of aerospace engineers and technical workers are part of the labor movement’s agenda.
This is a unique opportunity to build SPEEA’s power and ensure our voice is heard in Washington, Oregon and California’s broader labor movement.
