Tuesday night’s negotiations with Boeing ran late into the evening. Your WTPU negotiation team returned today for continued discussions on the non-economic portions of the contract.
We continue to make good progress with the company. There is still much work to be done, but today’s conversations were productive. We’ve seen movement on several important issues, but some important issues remain unresolved.
Keep showing solidarity!
Your continued support matters even more as we move forward. Red Shirt Friday is the
day after tomorrow. Let’s all wear red to show management we are united!
If you’re not a member, now is the time to join us and have your say when it comes to your contract. You can use this link to download and print out a membership card; then give it to your Council Rep or take it to our union offices at 4621 E. 47th St. S. (While you’re there, you can pick up a free SPEEA T-shirt for Red Shirt Fridays, which will continue until we have a ratified contract.)
Remember, only dues-paying members will get to vote on Boeing’s final offer.
