Advisory survey passes for proposed benefit change
The Wichita Engineering Unit (WEU) will move forward with a change to contract benefits based on Section 21.5 of the WEU collective bargaining agreement.
With slightly more than 66% of dues-paying members participating in the advisory survey, 70.5% agreed to implement the change. The survey closed April 14.
The SPEEA Executive Board and the Bargaining Unit Council, made up of WEU Council Reps, unanimously approved the contract change pending the result of the advisory survey.
What's next
Look for more information coming from the company in late April / early May. The information will also be included in presentations provided by SPEEA staff.
