The week concluded with a flurry of activity for your SPEEA Negotiation Team.
On Friday, the team:
- Presented written responses to Boeing management’s proposals on performance management and NORAs (notices of remedial action).
- Discussed potential hybrid/remote work policies with Boeing executives.
- Received from management a proposal to improve career development opportunities offered through the Ed Wells Partnership.
- Discussed a Boeing management proposal for a new retention rating system.
- Discussed with management ways to improve the Learning Together Program and the Boeing Technical Fellowships.
The team on Friday also began collaborative conversations with Boeing executives about pay, retirement benefits and paid time away from work. Those talks are expected to continue next week.
“This week went well,” said Negotiation Team member Matt Burgner, who works as a quality investigator at Everett. “We’ve got a lot of work to do, but it feels like we’re making real progress toward a final deal.”
